At 8:25pm on Wednesday, 3 December, we received reports of a fire on Stockbury Close in Earley, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a kitchen fire on the ground floor of the property. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put out the fire and make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 17 minutes.
