At 5:40am on Wednesday, 25 February, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a fire on Parsley Close in Earley, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found that a kitchen fire was out on arrival. Crews gave immediate emergency care to one person, before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were on scene for approximately 53 minutes.
