At 2:55pm on Monday, 20 October, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision at Reading Services (M4 Westbound).
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood, Theale and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving one car with one person trapped. Crews rescued the person from the vehicle and placed them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. The scene was handed over to Thames Valley Police and National Highways.
They were on scene for approximately 44 minutes.
