Road Traffic Collision in Englefield, Reading

At 8:25am on Monday, 3 November, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of a road traffic collision on Common Hill in Englefield, Reading.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Theale and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving two cars. One person released themselves from the car and was placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. Unfortunately, one other person passed away at the scene. Our thoughts are with the person’s family and friends at the difficult time. The scene was handed over to Thames Valley Police.

Crews were on scene for approximately two hours and two minutes.

Thames Valley Police have published an appeal for information following this incident.
