At 2:27pm on Wednesday, 31 December, we received a call from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service to reports of a road traffic collision on Andover Drove in Newbury.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found one car in a ditch. Crews helped one person out of the car and gave them immediate emergency care, before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. The scene was handed over to Thames Valley Police.
Crews were on scene for approximately 42 minutes.
