At 4.43pm on Tuesday, 12 August, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the eastbound carriageway of the M4 between junctions 13 and 14.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station and one crew from Hungerford Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving one vehicle, with one person trapped. Crews released the person from the vehicle, before leaving two people in the care of South Central Ambulance Service and handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 19 minutes.
