At 4:39pm on Monday, 1 December, we received a call from National Highways to reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 eastbound between Junction 11 in Three Mile Cross and Junction 10 in Winnersh.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood, Wokingham Road and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision with one person trapped. Crews gave immediate emergency care to the person, before stabilising the vehicle and placing the person in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
They were on scene for approximately 58 minutes.
