At 5:47pm on Tuesday, 3 February, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 eastbound between Junction 10 in Winnersh and Junction 8.9 in Holyport.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Bracknell, Wokingham, Windsor and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving one car in a ditch with one person trapped. Crews rescued the person from the vehicle, before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. The scene was handed over to National Highways.
Crews were on scene for approximately 22 minutes.
