Road Traffic Collision on M4(W)

At 5:40pm on Friday, 29 August, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 Westbound between Junction 10 in Winnersh and Junction 11 in Three Mile Cross.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving five cars, with no people medically trapped. Crews assisted South Central Ambulance, Thames Valley Police and National Highways with making the scene safe and moving cars onto the hard shoulder. Casualties were safely placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

They were on scene for approximately 28 minutes.
