At 6:08pm on Monday, 23 March, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 westbound between Junctions 5 (Langley) and 6 (Slough Central).
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Langley, Slough and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving two cars. Crews made the scene safe and gave immediate emergency care to one person. The scene was then handed over to Thames Valley Police, awaiting the attendance of South Central Ambulance Service.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and two minutes.
