At 10:52am on Thursday, 31 July, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 Westbound between Junction 7 in Slough and Junction 8.9 in Holyport.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station and one crew from Langley Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving two heavy goods vehicles with no people trapped. Crews gave immediate emergency care to two people, before safely leaving them in the care of National Highways awaiting the arrival of South Central Ambulance Service.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and three minutes.
