At 9:14pm on Thursday, 20 November, we received a call from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service to reports of a vehicle on fire on the M4 Westbound on Junction 14 in Shefford Woodlands.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hungerford and Newbury fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one crew from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving one car with no people trapped. Crews made the vehicle safe while one person was placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. The scene was handed over to Thames Valley Police and National Highways.
They were on scene for approximately 21 minutes.
