At 7:21pm on Thursday, 19 March, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the westbound carriageway of the M4 between Junctions 11 (Reading South) and 12 (Reading West).
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Ascot and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an officer.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision involving three vehicles. Firefighters provided immediate emergency care to three people before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 55 minutes.
