At 12:41pm on Wednesday, 13 August, we received reports of a fire on Northcourt Avenue in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire involving sheds, fences and trees. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to put out the fire and make the scene safe. Crews also gave immediate emergency care to one person, before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 50 minutes.
