At 12:00pm on Sunday, 1 February, we received reports of a vehicle on fire on Old Bath Road in Sonning.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew found one car on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before monitoring the temperature of the battery and ensuring the scene was safe.
They were on scene for approximately 44 minutes.
The crew later returned to the scene for a reinspection to ensure the scene was safe.
