At 2:36pm on Tuesday, 9 December, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of a vehicle fire on the M4 eastbound between Junction 11 in Three Mile Cross and Junction 10 in Winnersh.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bracknell and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found one car on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire and make the scene safe. The scene was handed over to Thames Valley Police.
They were on scene for approximately 50 minutes.
