At 10:49am on Tuesday, 10 February, we received reports of a vehicle on fire on the A404 southbound between Burchetts Green and Maidenhead.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Langley Fire Station was sent to the scene, alongside two crews and one Officer from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews found one car on fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately 36 minutes.
