At 1:20am on Sunday, 22 June, we received reports of a fire on High Street in Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Langley, Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene alongside four officers and an Operational Support Unit from Whitey Wood Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a car fire that had spread behind a three-storey building. Firefighters equipped with Breathing Apparatus rescued 10 people from the building before extinguishing the fire. Two people were placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service at the scene.
Crews were at the scene for approximately three hours and 15 minutes before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.
