At 7:09am on Thursday, 11 December, we received a call from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service to reports of a vehicle fire on Bath Road in Newbury.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found one lorry with overheated brakes. Firefighters used one hose reel to cool down the brakes, before monitoring the temperature with a thermal imaging camera.
They were on scene for approximately 36 minutes.
