At 4:31am on Saturday, 18 October, we received reports of a vehicle on fire near Reading Road in Arborfield.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a van on fire. Firefighters used one hose reel to put out the fire, before using a thermal imaging camera to ensure the scene was safe. The scene was handed over to Thames Valley Police.
They were on scene for approximately one hour 19 minutes.
