At 5:53am on Wednesday, 9 July, we received reports of a vehicle fire on Doncastle Road in Bracknell.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service Crews from Ascot, Wokingham and Bracknell fire station were sent to the scene alongside the Operational Support Unit from Whitley Wood Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a heavy goods vehicle that had been on fire. Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to find hotspots and a hose reel to cool down the vehicle.
Crews where at the scene for approximately three hours and 36 minutes.
