At 3:07pm on Wednesday, 25 February, we received reports of a vehicle fire on Greenham Common near Burys Bank Road, Greenham.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury were sent to the scene, with one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found one excavator well alight. Firefighters extinguished the fire using one hose reel and fire beaters.
Firefighters were on scene for 1 hour and 55 minutes.
