At 8:46am on Thursday, 8 January, we received reports of a vehicle on fire on Shop Lane in Leckhampstead, Newbury.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one bin lorry on fire was out on arrival. Firefighters used one hose reel to dampen the vehicle down and ensure the safe was safe.
They were on scene for approximately 24 minutes.
