At 3:25pm on Monday, 10 November, we received a call from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service to reports of a vehicle on fire on the M4 Eastbound near Junction 14 in Shefford Woodlands.
Two crews from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were sent to the scene, alongside one Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Newbury Fire Station and one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found an HGV tractor unit on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire and make the scene safe. The scene was handed over to National Highways and Thames Valley Police.
They were on scene for approximately two hours and three minutes.
