At 3:10pm on Friday, 26 December, we received reports of a vehicle fire on the M4 westbound between Junction 10 in Winnersh and Junction 11 in Three Mile Cross.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found one car on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before handing over the scene to National Highways and Thames Valley Police.
Crews were on scene for approximately 33 minutes.
