At 5:06am on Wednesday, 4 March, we received reports of a vehicle on fire on Wokingham Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one dustcart on fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before using a thermal imaging camera to monitor the temperature of the vehicle and a hay drag to make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately 32 minutes.
