If you would like to request a community visit or talk, please complete the request form below. All requests will be assessed based on how they align with our Commitments – for example where our teams can offer information, education and advice.
We ask that you provide 6 weeks’ notice.
Please note that a visit depends on the availability of our teams and operational crews, emergency incidents and any conflict with our core duties or training. Responding to 999 emergencies is our priority, and therefore, any planned attendance of fire appliances and crews may need to be cancelled with little or no notice.
Before completing the form please note:
- Fire crews operate on a shift pattern with changes at 9am and 6pm. A 30-minute changeover period is required either side of these times.
- Fire crews must be situated by the egress route (entry/exit), as they would be required to leave as quickly as possible in the event of any emergency call.
- Event organisers must be aware that RBFRS attendance at an event does not constitute fire cover for insurance or risk assessment purposes. In the event of an emergency, organisers should continue in the normal manner and call 999 .
Please allow up to 14 days for us to respond.
