Lambourn Fire Station

Lambourn is a on-call station, which currently has seven dedicated firefighters that protect the rural village and outlying areas.

The firefighters that serve Lambourn have worked on various incidents. One that is remembered and highly honoured amongst the crew is the Plymouth Blitz of April 1941, during this incident a crew of five from Lambourn attended for over 45 hours.

In 1974, the fire station was rebuilt into the building seen today.
