At 11:57am on Monday, 6 July, we received reports of a field fire on Pondwood Lane in Maidenhead.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead, Bracknell, Wokingham and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside a Zetros from Bracknell Fire Station, a 4×4 offroad vehicle from Crowthorne Fire Station, and two Officers.

Upon arrival, crews found a large field fire. Firefighters used hose reels and beaters to put out the fire and dampen down the area. The scene was then handed over to the onsite farmers.

Crews were on scene for approximately one hour and six minutes.
