At 7:14pm on Monday, 20 April, we received reports of a fire on Garsons Lane in Warfield.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Ascot and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a small fire in the open caused by downed electrical cables. Firefighters used backpack extinguishers to damp down hotspots after the cables were isolated by the Electricity Board.

Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 50 minutes.
