At 1:23am on Thursday, 28 December, we received reports of a road traffic collision on Goring Lane near Burghfield Common.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Mortimer and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision involving one vehicle. Firefighters rescued one person from the vehicle before handing them into the care of the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours.
