At 11:20am on Thursday, 21 May, we received reports of an incident on Duke Street in Henley-on-Thames.

A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene alongside an Officer.

On arrival, the crew discovered a pigeon trapped in netting three storeys up. Firefighters used a ladder to rescue the bird.

The crew was at the scene for approximately 45 minutes.
