At 11:17am on Monday, 16 October, we received reports of an animal in need of rescue on Peppard Road in Reading.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Caversham Road Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one Muntjac deer stuck in a metal fence. Hydraulic spreaders were used to release the animal.
The Crew was on scene for around six minutes.
