At 9:08am on Thursday, 26 June, we received reports of an animal in need of rescue on Erleigh Road in Reading.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene, alongside the Animal Rescue Unit from Caversham Road Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews found one injured fox stuck in a tree. Crews rescued the fox and placed it in the care of Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue.
They were on scene for approximately 37 minutes.
