At 11:40am on Tuesday, 30 January, we received reports of an animal in need of assistance on Forest Road near Bracknell
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Bracknell and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene alongside the Animal Rescue Unit from Caverhsam Road Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a horse that was unable to stand up. Firefighters helped stand the animal up before placing her into the care of a veterinarian.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 37 minutes.
