At 9:26am on Saturday, 10 February, we received reports of an animal in need of rescue near Old Forest Road near Wokingham.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Fire Station was sent to the scene alongside the Water Rescue Unit from Caversham Road Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews rescued a small dog that was trapped in a thick bramble on a riverbank before handing the dog back into the care of its owner.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 33 minutes.
