At 5:31pm on Wednesday, 22 July, we received reports of an animal in need of rescue on Copenhagen Close in Reading.

One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, the crew found a cat stuck between a shed and a wall. The crew safely rescued the cat, before leaving it in the care of its owner.

They were on scene for approximately nine minutes.
