At 9:50am on Thursday, 10 September, we received reports of an animal in need of rescue on Crockhamwell Road in Woodley.

One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, the crew found a cat stuck between a window pane and window bars. The crew used tools to safely release the cat.

They were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
