At 11:01am on Saturday, 5 September, we received reports of an animal in need of rescue on Wells Lane in Ascot.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Ascot Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew found a deer stuck in some rope meshing. The crew used ‘Tuffcut’ scissors to safely release the deer.
They were on scene for approximately 15 minutes.
