At 6:25am on Thursday, 25 June, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of an animal in need of rescue on Latimer Road in Wokingham.

One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Fire Station was sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, the crew found a deer stuck in a fence, before using hydraulic spreaders to safely release it.

They were on scene for approximately 13 minutes.
