At 4:09pm on Saturday, 18 April, we received reports of a fire on Sutton Road in Cookham.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer and a crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

On arrival, crews discovered a barn on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a main jet to extinguish the fire.

Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours.
