At 6:36pm on Sunday, 29 June, we received reports of a boat fire near Henley Road in Caversham, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Alpha II boat from Caversham Road Fire Station and one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found one wooden boat on fire. Firefighters used one ladder, one hose reel and resources from the Alpha II boat to put out the fire.
They were on scene for approximately 38 minutes.
