At 4:04pm on Monday, 27 July, we received reports of a fire on Amanda Court in Slough.

A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Langley Fire Station was sent to the scene.

On arrival, the crew discovered an out-of-control bonfire that had spread to a nearby shed and pergola. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put the fire out.

The crew was at the scene for approximately one hour.
