At 11:06pm on Tuesday, 27 December, we received reports of a fire at a commercial property on London Road, Wokingham.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Wokingham Road, Bracknell and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a deep fat fryer smoking.
Crews isolated the appliance and removed it from the building, before using a large powered fan to clear the remaining smoke.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 29 minutes.
