At 3:01pm on Friday, 7 August, we received reports of a fire on Anslow Place in Slough.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Maidenhead and Ascot fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer and an Aerial Ladder Platform from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

On arrival, crews discovered a fire in the ground floor of a two-storey building. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus rescued one person from the building before using two hose reel jets and the Aerial Ladder Platform to extinguish the fire. Crews also provided immediate emergency care to one person at the scene.

Crews remain at the scene for approximately two hours.
