At 8:10am on Sunday, 9 August, we received reports of a fire on Mill Street in Slough.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Langley, Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene alongside two Officers and an Aerial Ladder Platform from London Fire Brigade.

On arrival, crews discovered a fire involving a storage unit. Firefighters used the Aerial Ladder Platform, three hose reels and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

Crews were at the scene for approximately three hours and 55 minutes before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police. A crew from Slough Fire Station returned later that afternoon to reinspect the scene.
