At 2:30pm on Wednesday, 24 June, we received reports of a dangerous structure on Bedwyn Mews in Reading.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a damaged glass balcony at a fourth floor flat. Crews made the balcony safe, before advising the homeowner to remain off it until it has been repaired.

There were on scene for approximately 29 minutes.
