At 12:23pm on Tuesday, 21 July, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of a dangerous structure on Kings Road in Reading.

One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Caversham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, the crew found a pane of glass had fallen from the fourth floor of a six-storey building. The crew assisted Thames Valley Police in cordoning off the entrance of the building for safety, before handing over to the building’s Responsible Person.

The crew was on scene for approximately 38 minutes.
