At 4:58pm on Thursday, 22 October, we received reports of a dangerous structure on Southcote Lane in Reading.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Caversham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene alongside an Officer and the Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station.
On arrival, the crew discovered a window hanging out of its frame on the third floor of a building. Firefighters used the Aerial Ladder Platform to safely remove the window before replacing it with temporary boarding.
The crew was at the scene for approximately one hour and five minutes.
