At 12:40pm on Wednesday, 22 February, we received reports of a fire at a domestic property on Winkfield Row, Bracknell.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Ascot, Bracknell, and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one RBFRS Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a small fire in the dishwasher at the property.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel and a co2 extinguisher, before clearing the remaining smoke with a large powered fan.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 35 minutes.
